There's a kid named Zurk that fishes that area. You should look him up.

Even though we missed all our hits. I had a blast. It had been so long since I had someone to fish with. Lots of laughs. Mullethead falling when the line broke and him sitting there watching his line feed out and not moving. We also got someone else hooked. Its not always about catching fish. Its just being with the right people and having a great time. And that was what it was this year. Next year I WILL GET ONE.

The reason why that line brakes while the fish trashes is not because they failed to specify the true pounds that that line can handle, is because they failed to mention how many strands that braided line is made of.
Usually on ebay, especially china type braided line are made from 4 strands, which means that the line will fail when a sudden jerking tension happens above the specified LBS. To avoid issues like this, next time when you buy a braided line from them, if they didn't mention that already, ask them from how many strands that line is made of. If they fail to give you that info, stay away! I prefer braided line that's made from minimum 6 strands. As a general rule, more strands a braided line has, more resistible is on sudden tensions from that fight!
In past i had bad and good experience with china type braid from ebay, and while i had 4 strand braided line, i start researching the issue with this type of line, and since then i only purchase line that's above that number of strands without having an issue after that.

If it is, then that explains why so many people complain about it. I never purchase that line. Not worth the money.

If you go on ebay, there is a china guy there that sells, 1,000 meter which is around 1,100yds 8 strand braided line for $65. Just type in search "x-strong braid" and you'll find it. That's one of the line that i have, great quality. In tournament i purchase a different braid from another guy on ebay, and while one hammer was caught fine on +55lb drag the second one hour later got away because the line snap at the tip of the rod (no knot). I stop using that 4 strand braid and went back to this guy and got the 8 strand. Both of these were 100lb rated lines.
